Unreasonable Collectivity // In English
Presentation / Conversation
Any form of coming together as professional and political beings is considered a threat to the system, which has weakened and dismantled collectivities. How do we then come together to work individually-collectively as a response and a form of refusal? Under such conditions, facilitating unreasonable ways of coming together is crucial to work individually-collectively. In this presentation, Berhanu Ashagrie & Robel Temesgen share thoughts, imaginations and entanglements of an informal collective from Ethiopia (that they are part of, together with Helen Zeru & Tesfaye Bekele). The collective is formed with an emphasis on informality and temporality, exploring other possibilities for coming together as professional and political beings.
